Mittenwald via ferrata
The Mittenwald High Trail offers an unforgettable nature experience and is a challenge for outdoor enthusiasts who want to enjoy the beauty of the mountains.
The Mittenwalder Höhenweg, also known as the Mittenwald via ferrata, is a breathtaking ridge walk with moderate climbing difficulties. The route offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, including the Karwendel, the Wetterstein mountains, the Zugspitze and the Alpspitze.
We start our tour from the western Karwendelspitze, which we reach comfortably with the help of the Karwendel cable car.
The destination of the via ferrata is the Brunnsteinanger below the Brunnsteinspitze. From there it's a good hour's descent to the Brunnsteinhütte where we can enjoy drinks and a snack before heading back down into the valley for another hour.

- The via ferrata is classified as easy and corresponds to difficulty level A/B.
- Price:
- 275,- euros / person for 2 participants.
- Price example for a group of 4 or more: 129,- euros per participant.
- Single tour 550,- euros

- The cost of the cable car, as well as other expenses incurred by the participants.
